NEW DELHI: A team of six Supreme Court judges, led by Justice BR Gavai, is set to visit relief camps in violence-hit Manipur on March 22 to assess the situation and strengthen legal and humanitarian support.
The delegation includes Justices Surya Kant, Vikram Nath, MM Sundresh, KV Viswanathan, and N Kotishwar. Their visit aims to provide assistance to those affected by the unrest and ensure access to justice.
The Supreme Court has been closely monitoring the crisis, and this visit is seen as a step towards addressing concerns on the ground. Authorities are making arrangements for their visit to the relief camps.
