There were, however, a few mises, which included Vickie, the nurse who plays Robin’s love interest. Fans have been left wondering about what happened to her since her last appearance was when Eleven was pulled into the abyss. Well, the Duffer Brothers have finally answered what truly happened to Vickie.
What happened to Vickie in ‘Stranger Things’
While in conversation with Entertainment Weekly, the creators of the show delved into the fates of the lesser-known characters on the hit show. Talking about Robin and Vickie’s relationship, the brothers shared that they have left it up for debate amongst the fans. As per them, it is another one of the ambiguous storylines of the show that fans can use to fill in the blanks.“We do that flash-forward in Mike’s story and we bring them up to a certain point, and then we want to leave it a little bit up to fans in terms of where these characters end up ultimately. Do Robin and Vickie stay together? Maybe, maybe not,” the brothers quipped. They also shared that there had been conversations surrounding her character and storyline; however, ultimately, they decided not to include her.
Matt Duffer shares his personal opinion on Vickie and Robin’s relationship
Although fans have been left to assume what happens in Robin and Vickie’s love life, Matt Duffer had an entirely different take. Talking about his personal views, the creator of the show revealed that he feels that the two parted ways after high school ended and they all got into college.He added, “From my point of view and from everyone I knew in high school, what percentage of couples remain together after they leave for college? Extremely low.”The final season of ‘Stranger Things’ is now playing on Netflix.
