Rumors around the OTT release of ‘Vash Level 2’ have been swirling ever since the film hit theaters. Reports had suggested that the horror drama would soon stream on ShemarooMe, just like its predecessor. However, in an exclusive conversation with ETimes, director and writer Krishnadev Yagnik dismissed the claims outright. “The film has not been released on any OTT yet, and to be honest, we haven’t made any deal for the film’s digital release. It’s completely false news that the movie is coming to OTT,” he stated firmly.
Focus on the theatrical journey
For Yagnik, the priority remains with audiences experiencing Vash Level 2 on the big screen. He explained, “Right now, our focus is entirely on the theatrical run and connecting with the audience in cinemas. We want to ensure that the film reaches viewers in the way we intended, and only after the right opportunity presents itself will we consider an OTT release.” The director also made it clear that if and when the film does find a digital home, it “certainly won’t be Shemaroo.”Meanwhile, earlier, Filmibeat reported that the sequel will most likely be streaming on ShemarooMe, as the first part was also streaming on the same platform. With the director himself clearing away such rumors in an exclusive chat with us, fans can have a clear idea on the same.
‘Vash Level 2’ is winning over fans
Released in 2025, ‘Vash Level 2’ continues the unsettling world introduced in the original. The movie stars Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia, Monal Gajjar, and Hiten Kumar in the lead. Just like the first part, ‘Vash Level 2’ builds on the eerie atmosphere and emotional depth that helped Vash become a cult favorite. Early reviews have been positive, with fans praising both the chilling narrative and the strong performances.
