Good hold in Tamil regions
On its 11th day — Sunday, April 6 — Veera Dheera Sooran added approximately Rs 2.75 crore to its kitty, following a slight jump from Saturday’s collection of Rs 2.6 crore. The growth, though modest, signals a steady hold in theatres, particularly in Tamil-speaking regions.
The film’s total week one collection stood at Rs 30.25 crore, driven largely by the Tamil version. Tamil Nadu contributed a massive Rs 28.8 crore out of the week’s earnings, with the Telugu version bringing in Rs 1.45 crore. The second weekend saw a mild resurgence, with Friday through Sunday adding nearly Rs 7 crore more to the total.
The occupancy levels on Day 11 provide insight into the film’s weekend strength. On Sunday, the Tamil version had an overall occupancy of 26.32%. Evening shows led the chart with a respectable 33.08%, followed by afternoon shows at 32.24%, indicating strong weekend footfall. Morning and night shows showed relatively lower attendance but still contributed to the day’s totals.
