Karan Johar‘s ‘Koffee With Karan‘ is known for its controversies, revelations apart from all the heartfelt conversations where celebs open up. It all began more than 20 years ago and since then the show has become quite iconic, if one may say. Here’s recalling the time when Karan revealed that the first time he ever shot for ‘KWK’ was with Saif Ali Khan.
Saif had appeared on Karan’s show with his daughter Sara Ali Khan in season 6 of the show which aired in 2018. It was the year when Sara made her debut with ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Singham Again’. During the episode, Karan revealed to Sara, “Saif is my lucky mascot. Because the first ever episode which I shot for ‘Koffee With Karan’ was with Saif. I clearly remember, it was on his birthday August 16, 2004. It was a day after your mom threw him out of the house I think.”
Sara responded to it and said, “On Independence Day? Happy Independence Day to both of them.” This video has now gone viral on Reddit and users are saying that Sara stole the show with her witty response.
During the episode, Saif had also spoken about how Amrita dressed up Sara and sent her for his second wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor had written a letter to Amrita that time to just end things on a good note with her, before he began his new journey with Kareena and Sara was quite happy about it.
