Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of Elon Musk’s X, made a surprising announcement on Wednesday when she revealed that she is stepping down from the post that she has held for “two incredible years.”In a post shared on X, the 61-year-old thanked Musk for entrusting her with the responsibility of protecting free speech and transforming X into the Everything App.She also thanked her team, “I’m incredibly proud of the X team – the historic business turn around we have accomplished together has been nothing short of remarkable. We started with the critical early work necessary to prioritize the safety of our users—especially children, and to restore advertiser confidence. This team has worked relentlessly from groundbreaking innovations like Community Notes, and, soon, X Money to bringing the most iconic voices and content to the platform” and highlighted the growth of X as a powerful social media platform.“X is truly a digital town square for all voices and the world’s most powerful culture signal. We couldn’t have achieved that without the support of our users, business partners, and the most innovative team in the world. I’ll be cheering you all on as you continue to change the world. She is one of three sisters, one of whom is her twin. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications of Pennsylvania State University.In terms of family, Yaccarino is married to her husband Claude Madrazo, whom she met shortly after graduating in 1985.
