Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal is signalling a fresh start just months after his divorce from dancer‑creator Dhanashree Verma. Eight months have passed since the couple officially ended their marriage, and now Chahal has shared a message on Instagram that has fans buzzing.

On Wednesday, Chahal posted several pictures of himself in a sleek black tuxedo. Alongside the images, he wrote, “Shadi k lie ready hoon bas ladki chaiye” (I am ready for marriage, just need a girl). The post sparked excitement among fans, some celebrating his readiness to move forward, while others reminded him of his past. A few even tagged RJ Mahvash, adding to the speculation.

Interestingly, on Thursday, RJ Mahvash shared a new Instagram video in which she spoke about relationships, trust and marriage. In the clip, Mahvash said she would never do an online “launch” before her wedding and urged women to tell her if her partner was “making romantic moves” in anyone’s DMs. She added, “Nahi main duniya mein kissi pe bhi trust nahi karti,” stressing that “koi bhi kuch bhi kar sakta hai” and encouraging girls to expose such behaviour to protect themselves.

Chahal and RJ Mahvash have been the subject of dating rumours for some time, though both have consistently denied any relationship. On Raj Shamani’s podcast, Chahal addressed the speculation firmly, explaining how difficult it had been for Mahvash to face public judgment.“For the first time, when I was seen with someone, people started linking us right away. Even she clarified it, but it was very hard for her. She was called a homewrecker… people said really nasty things. I felt terrible,” Chahal recalled.He also spoke about the challenges of opening his heart again, “It will take time to process. I need to gather myself. I’m not afraid to fall in love again, but I’m scared of losing the person because I get attached with all my heart.”
