NEW DELHI: IndianOil plans to raise oil refining capacity by a quarter to meet rising energy needs its chairman S M Vaidya said on Friday. India’s oil demand is likely to surge from 5.4 million barrels per day in 2023 to 8.3 million barrels per day by 2050.
