The horror of last year’s near-shutdown of IndiGo’s operations during the peak winter travel month of December may be over but its ripple effects are still being felt in ways that may not appear direct.
India’s largest airline had cancelled over 4,500 flights then impacting over 1 million passengers, leading to a record fine on it by aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and an abrupt exit of its CEO Pieter Elbers.
