The latest episode of ‘Anupamaa’ starts with Rajni feeling terrified that Anupama will steal everything from her. She screams and yells that Anupama is out to get her as Varun tries to calm her down.
Rajni talks about Anupama
Rajni tells Varun that Anupama will stop at nothing and that she will kill her children to win. Varun calms her down and tells her that she has already won the case, and that Anupama cannot do anything to beat her, or turn the chawl redevelopment case around in any way.Rajni, however, also quips about how Anupama is coming for her political career. She cites that no one has approached her, while Anupama is getting party tickets without even asking or working for them.
Rahi believes in Anupama
The scene shifts to Rahi expressing how sorry she is for not believing in Anupama before. She cites that while she regrets what she did, they do not have time to apologize to Anupama. She adds that they need to go and meet the lawyers as soon as possible about the redevelopment case. Anupama feels happy that her daughter is finally on her side.
Anupama prays to god
As there is only one day left in the trial hearing, Anupama prays to god that they remain victorious in their case. She tells god that if they lose, she will not be able to bear the brunt of being the reason the chawl was destroyed. Vasundhara also tells Parag that she will pray to god and will keep a lamp lit at the altar until they win.On the other hand, Prerna reveals that she has consulted one of her friends in the US about the case, as Anupama goes to talk to the lawyers about the case.
Rajni vows to make Anupama lose, no matter what
Meanwhile, Rajni decides that Anupama has to lose, no matter the cost, or else she will destroy everything that Rajni has built. She tells something to Varun and asks him to do exactly as she says. In disbelief at her actions, he asks how she can expect him to take lives and talk so casually about it. She pressures Varun and even mentions how she has helped in the past.With reluctance, he sends his men to meet Anupama and ask her to meet at the chawl area at 8 pm. The men arrive, though they mistake Rahi for Anupama and tell her about the meeting. Rahi wonders what they are up to and why they want to meet her mother this late in the day. Prerna says that she will go and meet them, and while Rahi tries to stop her, Prerna says that they have no time. Once she arrives at the chawl, she enters a home, and the door is locked behind her. Varun, meanwhile, orders his men to set fire to the house, not knowing that Rajni’s own daughter is in there instead of Anupama.The promo for the next episode shows that the chawl members and Rahi are trying to put out the fire. As Anupama arrives and looks at the scene in shock, Rahi informs her that Prerna is locked inside. Anupama drapes her pallu on her head and bursts into the burning house, while Varun and his men watch the scene unfold in shock.
