Gerard Butler returns as John Garrity, the engineer and protective father who must now lead his family across a frozen, lawless wasteland in search of somewhere they can actually live. He is best known for ‘300’, ‘Olympus Has Fallen’, ‘Den of Thieves’, and the original ‘Greenland’, and voiced Stoick in the live-action ‘How to Train Your Dragon’. Butler plays the role with the grounded physicality that has made him one of Hollywood’s most reliable action leads.
