Hema Malini to host prayer meet for Dharmendra in New Delhi
According to the NDTV report, Hema Malini, along with her daughters Esha Deol, Ahana Deol, Bharat Takhtani, and Vaibhav Vohra, will be hosting the meet in the memory of the departed soul. As per the report, the prayer meet will be held on December 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm IST at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi. Before the upcoming prayer meet in Delhi, Hema Malini had also organized a Gita Paath at her home in Dharmendra’s memory.Meanwhile, this will be the second prayer meet for the late actor.
The first prayer meet
The first prayer meet was hosted in Mumbai’s Bandra on November 27. Many celebs of Hindi cinema, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, and others, attended the meet titled ‘Celebration of Life’. Dharmendra’s sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with the family, expressed their gratitude towards everyone who attended it with folded hands. At the end of the tribute, Sonu Nigam performed some of Dharmendra’s most cherished songs like ‘Aa Ja Jaane Wale’, ‘Rahe Na Rahe Hum’, ‘Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan Hai’, and ‘Apne Toh Apne Hote Hain’. On the other hand, on the same day, several actors arrived at Hema Malini’s residence in Mumbai to extend their condolences.
