Actor Urvashi Upadhyay, currently seen as Kusum Saxena in Mangal Lakshmi, chose to celebrate her birthday this year with devotion, gratitude, and spiritual reflection rather than grand festivities. Taking a break from shoots for the special day, the actress spent her time at home with prayers and family.“I’m not shooting today. I love my work and will definitely miss my set and scenes, but today is about being at home, praying, and celebrating quietly. I want to honour another year with devotion, peace, and the simple blessing of being present.”The actress reveals that she and her husband, Kishor Sharle, observed a fast together. “I’m keeping a fast with my husband today, making this birthday one of faith and gratitude,” she says. “It falls during a very blessed period, and luckily I had the day off, so we could plan a puja at home—something almost impossible during hectic shoot schedules.”Urvashi made her acting debut with Hamari Devrani in 2008 and has since been part of shows like Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein, Dil Se Dil Tak, and Thapki Pyar Ki 2, steadily building a reputation as a graceful and dependable presence on Indian television.
