Janhvi Kapoor calls Buchi Babu Sana ‘Most Rowdy director in India’, talks about her bond with the director

The makers launched the trailer of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Peddi’ in Mumbai. During the event, the cast of the film, including director Buchi Babu Sana and musician AR Rahman, along with other key members, were present. She went on to call the director the “Most Rowdy director of India.”

Speaking at the event, Janhvi Kapoor shared her experience of working on the film and watching the trailer for the first time with the audience. “Today I have seen the trailer with all of you for the first time. And I am very happy to see everyone’s hard work and love. And yeah, it’s a very special day, I think, for all of us.”When asked about portraying her character and adapting to the body language, language and attitude required for the role, Janhvi credited director Buchi Babu Sana.

“It was all Buchi, sir. Like he said, he looks like he’s Chui Mui. He’s the most rowdy director in India. It’s true, but honestly, it’s been an honour for me. I think this film has given me a lot. It’s given me such a superb trailer, it’s given me so much love from all of you. Hopefully, after 4th June, there will be even more love.”

Janhvi opens up about her bond with Buchi Babu Sana

The ‘Devera’ actress further opened up about her close friendship with director Buchi Babu Sana. “He’s changed me in so many ways. In fact, I think, at one point, the way I call him now, he has become my best friend. Every day, I have to call Mr. Buchi sir at least once. Sir, how are you doing? Sir, dubbing? I talk nonsense, man. Because I know that the role is over, but I just… I think it just goes to show the investment,” she said.

Janhvi Kapoor on collaborating with AR Rahman again

Calling it an honour to collaborate once again with A.R. Rahman, Janhvi added, “It’s always an honour to be a part of a film where Rahman sir is doing the music. It’s, I think, our second collaboration together. It’s been a complete honour.”About ‘Peddi’Speaking about ‘Peddu’, the film is a sports action drama and is set to release on June 4 in multiple languages.
