Man fires three rounds at wife in Nanded | Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar News

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A 19-year-old woman was seriously injured after her husband allegedly fired three rounds at her with a country-made pistol following a domestic dispute.The incident took place in the Teacher’s Colony area of Loha town in Nanded district around Monday midnight. The accused fled the spot and is being tracked by the police.According to the police, the accused, Vishal Jadhav (27) got into a heated argument with his wife Archana while questioning her character. The argument escalated and took a violent turn and in a fit of rage, the man allegedly opened fire at his wife with an illegal firearm. One bullet grazed her ear while another struck her in the back, causing her to collapse in a pool of blood.Family members rushed Archana to a hospital in Nanded where she is undergoing treatment. Police said her condition is stable and she is out of danger.Upon receiving information about the incident, superintendent of police Nilabh Rohan and other officers reached the spot. Forensic and fingerprint experts examined the scene and collected evidence.Rohan citing the preliminary investigation said the accused has a criminal background. He was booked in a robbery case and was out on bail.“Multiple teams have been formed to trace the accused. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway,” said Rohan.
