Man shot for refusing to give glass for drinking liquor in UP | Bareilly News

BAREILLY: A 21-year-old shop owner was shot dead by three persons while he was asleep inside his grocery store at Rohtapur under Aliganj limits of Bareilly on Wednesday night.
Dinesh Kashyap, the brother of the victim, Satya Pal Kashyap, said, “The accused had earlier visited my brother’s shop and asked for disposable glasses to consume liquor, but he refused. Thereafter, they started an argument and threatened him . Few hours later, the accused returned and killed him.”
Police said the accused had a quarrel with the victim on several occasions in the past and “we are investigating the case”. “We’ve registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim’s family and two accused have been detained. The body has been sent for autopsy,” said circle officer Neelesh Mishra. Asif Ansari
