Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha visited the Mumbai home of late Bollywood legend Dharmendra to offer condolences to the grieving Deol family. Sharing an update on Saturday, Sinha posted a series of photographs on X, capturing his visit to the Deol residence and his interaction with the family.

“In my return from Delhi, I went with a very heavy, sorrowful heart to our dearest family friend, our elder brother Dharmendra’s home,” he wrote. Sinha said it was an emotional meeting with Dharmendra’s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, as well as Bobby’s wife Tanya Deol, and their sons Dharam and Aryaman. Remembering his friend with affection, he added, “Tt was great meeting them all & remembered Dharmji for the remarkable person he was & will live forever for the many lives he touched. Prayed for their peace and strenght in these sorrowful times.
Deol family hosts prayer meet
Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most beloved icons, passed away on November 24 at the age of 89, prompting an outpouring of tributes from across the film fraternity. A prayer meeting was recently organised by Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in memory of their father.Singer Sonu Nigam sang songs of the late superstar at the prayer meet to celebrate Dharmendra and his legacy.

Another prayer meet was organised on the same day by Dharmendra’s second wife and superstar Hema Malini and daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol at their residence in Mumbai.
Celebs arrive to pay their respects
Superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan also attended the prayer meet along with a host of Bollywood stars. They were also seen visiting the Deol family to be with them during this tough time.
