Rocking Star Yash will next be seen on the big screens in his much awaited gangster action drama, ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film includes a strong female star cast and its bold, unapologetic and grand theme has made it one of the most anticipated films among fans. As it is set for a worldwide release on August 26, the makers officially announced when the trailer will be coming.

Yash took to his X handle to announce that the trailer for ‘Toxic’ will be released on August 8, 2026, which is this coming Saturday. Sharing the update he wrote, “The countdown has begun…#ToxicTrailer on 08-08-2026. #Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups In Cinemas Worldwide from 26-08-2026.”

Along with the trailer news, Yash also dropped a brand new poster from the film, which has a monochromatic colour theme giving an old 90’s style. The ‘KGF’ star can be seen in a dark coloured overcoat and a hat, holding what seems to be a Thompson submachine gun on empty streets.

Yesterday on Kiara Advani’s birthday, the makers shared another poster from the film featuring a close shot of her face as she dons an elegant red outfit to wish Kiara Advani on her special day.
About ‘Toxic’
‘Toxic’ has multiple female stars including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. The film also features Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair and Amit Tiwari in important roles.The makers shot the film in Kannada and English simultaneously and will also release it in multiple dubbed languages. Vishal Mishra, Ravi Basrur and Tanishk Bagchi are composing the film’s music.
